Pay As You Go Website

That’s a fair question, and the important thing is that we’re upfront about how the Pay As You Go model works.

Instead of asking you to pay £1,000, £2,000 or more upfront to have a website designed and built, we cover that initial development cost and spread our return over the time you stay with us.

Your monthly fee covers the use of the website, hosting, maintenance and the systems behind it. So while you’re a customer, we look after the technical side and keep everything running for you.

If at some point you decide to leave, you’re certainly free to do so. We’re not trying to lock anyone in or hold their business hostage. However, because the website itself was built under a subscription model rather than purchased outright, it doesn’t automatically become yours simply because you cancel the subscription.

If you want to take ownership of the website and move it elsewhere, we can provide a buyout option based on how long you’ve been with us and the remaining value of the website.

Your business information, domain name and other assets that you already own remain yours. We just want to make sure the arrangement is fair to both sides: you avoid the large upfront investment, and we get the opportunity to recover the cost of building the site over time.

Think of it less like us holding your website hostage and more like choosing between buying something outright or paying for it as a service.
